A California mother was tired of the hassle of chasing down public school buses, so she decided to come up with a solution that has caught on like “wildfire” in the Bay Area and has transformed into a business that is bringing in over a billion dollars in revenue.

A 50-Year-Old Mother Set Out to Solve a Problem

CNBC reported that 50-year-old Rita Narayan decided to tackle the problems of getting her kids to school on time and then picking up her children when school lets out every day.

The free school transportation was often late and unreliable, and without knowing where the bus was on its route, it often left parents scrambling to figure out how they would get their child to school and get to work on time.

This is an issue that many parents struggle with every day while trying to work a full-time job, and can be even more challenging for single parents with multiple children.
