A Columbus woman is “struggling to buy groceries for her family” after a Subway in a gas station charged her over $1K for a sub sandwich.

A Columbus, Ohio woman is now struggling to buy groceries after she was charged $1,021.50 at a gas station Subway, and can’t seem to “catch a break” or get a refund on the bogus charge for a footlong sandwich.

Ohio Woman Charged Over $1K by Subway on Winchester Pike

ABC 6 News reported Monday that Letitia Bishop got a footlong sub sandwich from the Subway at Thornton’s gas station at 4600 Winchester Pike, and noticed that they charged her debit card over $1,000 for one of the three sandwiches.

She said:

“There’s no way, unless it’s wrapped in gold or from some other place. I would never pay $1,010 for a Subway sandwich.” -Letitia Bishop, Subway customer
