A new YouGov survey brings some light to the burning question in the back of our heads. That burning sensation is not from the recent brain chip implant, but it could be if you are in the 8% of Americans that would consider it.

If you have no clue what I am talking about, it is time you read Part One in the article published on 1 February 2024: “Elon Musk’s Startup Company Neuralink ‘Implanted a Chip in a Human Brain.’ It’s Not Monkey Business” to find out how many macaque monkeys lost their lives in the trial experiments.

These were macaque monkeys that typically lived over 20 years in captivity but had to be euthanized at an average age of 7.25 years after having a chip implanted in their brains.

YouGov Surveyed Americans and Found that…‘Nope’

Business Insider reported that YouGov surveyed 1,000 Americans from January 30 to February 1, 2024, to see what they think about getting a brain chip implant and a collective 92% answered, “Nope.”
