Elon Musk Vows to Make Things Right with Bakery Owner After Tesla Cancels a Large Pie Order
Tesla ordered 4,000 mini-pies on Valentine’s Day for “thousands” to be delivered the following week for Black History Month, then canceled the order at the last minute and blamed the decision on “Upper Management.”
Elon Musk is not without controversy, so maybe the following pie fiasco comes as no surprise. He maintains in a post below he was not aware that it even happened, as he lives in a tiny house in Austin, TX.
Tesla Ordered 4,000 Mini Pies from Bakery, Then Cancels Order
Tesla ordered 4,000 mini-pies costing the bakery “thousands” — and the order was placed at a black-owned business in San Jose to commemorate Black History Month.
Then they canceled it at the last minute.
Instead of boosting the business with this incredible order, the cancellation of this order will be a deficit to this small business if they do not compensate her for the time and money spent preparing the order. (We’re still waiting to find out if Tesla will make good on their future catering orders.)
