One aspiring actress was trying to make ends meet, and it was getting hard for her to survive from small paychecks doing TV commercials and taking on a part-time personal assistant role.

It wasn’t until she reached a point of desperation to make ends meet, that she stumbled across a website that lets her use her skills to earn money as a freelancer.

It sounds like the typical story of any struggling actor that moves to Hollywood and works as a waiter or waitress until the next audition.

However, this is not your typical story. This is a success story about Vanessa Garcia, a successful woman.

Meet Vanessa Garcia

Vanessa Garcia is originally from Mexico.

Business Insider reported that she has been living in Los Angeles for about three years, and has learned a lot, thanks to a freelance platform, which will be shared in just a moment.

Vanessa Garcia was having a difficult time financially. Her goal was to become an actress, but bills were piling up fast.

She said:

“Starting in 2013, I worked as a nanny, tutor, and personal assistant to make ends meet, and it was discouraging trying to achieve a healthy and happy lifestyle. Throughout those years, I also worked as a princess at parties and planned events, all while pursuing an acting career.
